Crown Level is a progression system, introduced in 0.19.0, which is used as a means to indicate a player's skill and style on MCC Island.
Players can currently only progress their crown level by gaining 
Skill or 
Style Trophies, and not 
Bonus Trophies.
A player's crown level determines the colour of their Champion's Crown, which is displayed in several places:
- Before a player's name in chat and in games
- In the nametag above a player's head
- In a player's inspect menu
Each upgrade to the Champion's Crown colour is considered an "evolution".
Each Crown Level is reached by collecting a certain amount of trophies, with the requirement per level increasing every evolution:
