Fishing Level

Collect Angler Trophies to increase your Fishing Level. Each level unlocks access to things like new islands, equipment, perk tiers, and much more.

Fishing Level is a progression system, introduced in 0.22.0, which is used to indicate a player’s progress in Fishing. It is increased through earning Angler Trophies.

Players can earn Angler Trophies by catching different types and weights of Fish, upgrading Fishing Perks, and completing Research Levels.

A player's Fishing Level icon evolves every ten levels, and is displayed below their name, above their hotbar while on Fishing Islands, and on their profile.

Each Fishing Level is reached by earning a certain amount of Angler Trophies, with the requirement per level increasing every evolution:

Note that, as of 0.22.0, the highest level a player could possibly obtain is Fishing Level 78, as there are not enough Angler Trophies obtainable to level up further.

The maximum amount of Angler Trophies is given by the API as 32,330, but the actual limit is 32,250.
