Fishing Perks

Perks and overclocks can be found in the A.N.G.L.R. menu. They boost various aspects of your fishing experience. Their effectiveness depends on the level you have upgraded them to.

Perks

There are 25 perks which can be used when fishing on MCC Island. They each fall into one of 5 categories:

Hook perks improve your chances of catching higher rarities of fish or items.

Perk	Usage
Strong Hook	When you catch a Fish, increases the chance it has a weight of Large or higher.
Wise Hook	When you catch a Fish, increases the chance it has a rarity of Epic or higher.
Glimmering Hook	When you catch a Pearl, increases the chance it's Polished or Pristine.
Greedy Hook	When you catch Treasure, increases the chance that is has a rarity of Rare or higher.
Lucky Hook	When you catch a Spirit, increases the chance it's Refined or Pure.

Magnet perks increase the chance to multiply the amount of fish or items you catch.

Perk	Usage
XP Magnet	Increases your chances of Multiplying the Island XP you earn from fishing catches.
Fish Magnet	When you catch a Fish, increases the chance to Multiply the amount.
Pearl Magnet	When you catch a Pearl, increases the chance to Multiply the amount.
Treasure Magnet	When you catch Treasure, increases the chance to Multiply the amount.
Spirit Magnet	When you catch a Spirit, increases the chance to Multiply the amount.

Perk	Usage
Boosted Rod	When triggered, doubles your Elusive Fish Chance, Pearl Chance, Treasure Chance, Spirit Chance. and Wayfinder Data for that catch.
Speedy Rod	When triggered after a catch, your next catch will appear Instantly upon casting.
Graceful Rod	When triggered, cancels the decrease in Stock of your fishing spot for that catch
Glitched Rod	When triggered, your catch counts twice towards your Research.
Stable Rod	When triggered, cancels the loss of Stability of the Grotto for that catch.

Perk	Usage
Strong Pot	When one of your Crab Pots catches a Crab, increases the chance it has a weight of Large or higher.
Wise Pot	When one of your Crab Pots catches a Crab, increases the chance it has a rarity of Epic or higher.
Glimmering Pot	When one of your Crab Pots catches a Pearl, increases the chance it's Polished or Pristine.
Greedy Pot	When one of your Crab Pots catches Treasure, increases the chance that is has a rarity of Rare or higher.
Lucky Pot	When one of your Crab Pots catches a Spirit, increases the chance it's Refined or Pure.

Elusive Chance	When you catch a Fish, increases the chance it's Elusive.
Wayfinder Data	Increases the amount of Wayfinder Data you earn from each catch.
Pearl Chance	When you perform a catch, increases the chance that it's a Pearl and decreases the chance that it's Junk.
Treasure Chance	When you perform a catch, increases the chance that it's Treasure and decreases the chance that it's Junk.
Spirit Chance	When you perform a catch, increases the chance that it's a Spirit and decreases the chance that it's Junk.

Overclocks

There are 5 different types of Overclock which can be unlocked through the A.N.G.L.R. Panel.

Selecting a Hook Perk to Overclock will increase its temporary Perk Points based on the level of the Overclock.

The Supreme Overclock (often referred to as a 'Pylon') is unlocked by buying the Grand Champ Supreme rank. It temporarily increase the Perk Points for certain perks in a range of 15 blocks around you. All players within range gain the perk points, and every additional player within the range increases the Perk Points by 1 up to a max of 15 with 15 players.

Duration: 10 minutes

Cooldown: 60 minutes
